My Nutrisystem Journey Has Officially Started #NSNation

On Wednesday, 3/9/11, I officially started my Nutrisystem Journey. I hope you follow my progress over the next 4 months! I am so excited to see what the future brings with the healthier, and hopefully thinner me!

My freezer and shelf food arrived a few days before I decided to begin the program. I was happy I allowed a few days to review and understand the system, shop for my grocery add ins and plan my meals for a few days. This way, on day #1 I did not have to figure out what I needed to eat or when.

Here are photos of all my freezer and shelf food when they arrived.

I have only been on Nutrisystem for a few days but so for I have not come across one of their meals that I do not like and most importantly I have NOT been hungry !!!! I can't believe how much food I actually get to eat on this plan.

A typical day consist of the following:

Since I discovered Nutella about a year ago, my whole family has been huge fans. We LOVE it! My kids love it on toast, on waffles, with fruit and I have even used it to frost cupcakes. I have told friends and family about it but not many have tried it.

What is Nutella ? Nutella (pronounced "new-tell-uh") is a tasty unique spread made from the combination of roasted hazelnuts, skim milk and a hint of cocoa. Nutella has no artificial colors or preservatives. It can be used on a wide variety of breads. Hazelnuts are a main ingredient in Nutella. Each 13 oz. jar contains more than 50 hazelnuts. Nutella is also kosher.

I was thrilled when I received a Party Pack to let my friends and family try Nutella, some for the first time. I put Nuttella on waffles, toast and also on bagels with fresh strawberries (my new favorite). The most popular responses after trying it were " this is good" , "I have always seen it but never tried it" and "this will be on my shopping list ". Nutella seemed to be a big hit with everyone, especially the kids. Everyone was excited to be able to take home sample packets as well as coupons to purchase some Nutella! I think everyone at my Nutella Party said they were planning on purchasing it on their next shopping trip!
