Game Night with Pressman Toy

One of our favorite family activities is game night. We try to have at least one a week and we try to do more if possible !

Recently I was introduced to Pressman Toy, my family was sent 3 of their newer games to try.

We received Splashy the Whale , Ring Around The Nosy and Rummikub Kids Edition. I have to say right now my boys favorite is Ring Around The Nosy. I think the boys like seeing mom and dad in the trunk glasses. It is really easy to play , the first person to pick up all their rings with their trunk wins ! I really like that all the games we received allows everyone in our family to play and enjoy since the age range starts out young and goes to adult.

The best part is that all 3 of these games or $20 or under !! So you can purchase a couple to add to your family game collection !

Bellow is info on all 3 games :

Splashy the Whale

For 2 or more players; Ages 5 and up; SRP: $20; Available at Kmart, Learning Express, Toy Master and in fall 2009

‘Thar she blows!’ Pressman Toy’s Splashy the friendly electronic whale is ready for fun and frolics on the high sea! But all that splashing about means Splashy’s mouth has been filling up with all kinds of “Flotsam and Jetsam.” Players take turns trying to fish bones, anchors, life preservers, sea horses, and submarines from Splashy’s mouth as he bobs and rolls around the crest of a wave. But don’t tickle his tongue! He might surprise you with a spray of water and you will have to return all your items back into his mouth. The player with the most Flotsam and Jetsam points at the end of the game wins.

Ring Around The Nosy™

For 2 to 4 players; Ages 4 and up; SRP: $15; Available at Toy Master, Learning Express and in fall 2009

Pressman Toy promises hilarious, fast-action fun with this colorful game that turns everyone into an elephant! Players put on their masks and put their rings on the playing board. Using only their trunk, players must scoop up the color rings as fast as they can onto their trunks. The first ring is the easiest, but it gets harder as players try to keep their rings on their trunks while picking up additional rings. The first player to get all three rings on their trunk wins.

Rummikub® Kids Edition

For 2 for 4 players; Ages 4 and up; SRP: $15; Available at Toys “R” Us, Toy Master, Learning Express and in fall 2009

This first Rummikub set for preschoolers from Pressman Toy is cleverly designed with shapes that help children self-correct their moves. The game helps children develop number and color recognition skills, teaches players how to build sets of consecutive numbers and also fosters logical reasoning as they learn the basics of Rummikub. Features three levels of game play.

What is also nice is that out of the 3 games the only one that takes batteries is Splashy the Whale.
