My toddler received the green gingham "Going t
o Grandma's" suitcase from Child To Cherish. This keepsake suitcase features a fleece blanket and rattle with the wording “Ready or Not Grandma, Here I Come!” I first gave my little one his suitcase on a day we where going to my mom's for him to stay a little while. I told him what it said and he said "Go MawMaw's" and he picked it up and ran to the door. I was so glad I had my camera on hand and was able to snap a photo (see right). He was holding it and standing by the door waiting to leave even though I had not packed him yet. When I told him we needed to pack it for him, he put the suitcas
e on the floor then opened it and started packing..... not clothes......TOYS ! ( photo on left) Once I told him that it was for his clothes, then we were able to pack what he needed.
It is a great size for him, he can carry it on his own which makes him feel like a big boy !
The coated paper-board suitcase has leather-like accents on the exterior, metal hinges and clasp. It is available in green , blue & pink gingham. It also comes with a blanket and rattle. The blanket is great for on the go to keep him warm away from home and the rattle is an adorable teddy bear that even my 2 year old can snuggle with .
