Great Easy Dessert Recipe !


What you will need :

1 13x9 baking dish

1 box yellow cake mix

1 large can cherry pie filling

1 large can crushed pineapple (or 2 small)

1 & 1/2 - sticks of butter

1 cup pecans

PREHEAT oven at 350

Step 1- Pour the cherry pie filling, crushed pineapple

(with juice)and pecans in dish.

Step 2- Mix together well

Step 3 - Pour powder cake mix over top and cut up butter

and place on top.

Step 4- Bake 1 hour 15 min or until golden brown in

pre-heated 350 oven.


Serve warm and enjoy !

    Oh that looks YUMMY!!! Thanks, I will try that one! I make a similar one but only I use just apple pie filling and put the pecans on top!

    That looks so yummy and so easy. I call cakes like that dump cakes. Dump it all in, mix it up and bake. We have tried it with blueberry and it's equally as good.

    This sounds and looks great but is it a cakey like dessert or kind of a crumbly top once cooked? The powdered cale mix is not mixed with anything other than the liquid from the fruit beneath and the butter that gets melted over the top right? Would it be dipped into a bowl for eating or able to be sliced like a cake? Sounds real easy and good! We will have to try this!

    Im definately making this ..I'm the only one in family who likes cherries so I'd get to eat the whole thing!! My friend at work always makes a Cherry Chocolate Cake for birthdays maybe I'll surprise her and make this for her when it's her birthday in February!
